2014 Oct 31st - Q70

Halloween, celebrated every October 31st in the modern world, is said to have originated from the merging of the All Saints' Day or All Souls' Day [celebrated on November 1st and 2nd respectively] with which Gaelic festival - that is celebrated on October 31st? By one theory, the Gaelic festival has its etymological roots in the Sankrit for season or year - as the festival celebrates the end of the harvest season.
