2014 Oct 4th - Q4

On a recent nation-wide poll of 2000 votes (to mark Craft-Baker's week) organised by OnePoll, the best Great British Bake went to the cake shown in the picture. Beating out the Bakewell Pudding and the Bakewell Tart, name this "small, round cake filled with currants and made from flaky pastry with butter, sometimes topped with demerara sugar." It is named after its place of origin.
