2014 Oct 7th - Q22

With reference to current affairs, answer the question - Out of the three LED lights (blue, green and red), which one was the last to be invented, due to difficulty in both academia and industry?

=> Blue LED lights - Shuji Nakamura, Isamu Akasaki and Hiroshi Amano were the three recipients of the 2014 Nobel Prize for Physics "for the invention of efficient blue light-emitting diodes, which has enabled bright and energy-saving white light sources". Although red and green LEDs had been around for many years, blue was invented only in the early 1990's, and is now essential for the display on LED screens.
